How does Invisalign work?
The development of Invisalign has seen a significant rise in the number of adults and young people choosing to have orthodontic treatment. Invisalign provides a treatment solution that is discreet, comfortable and effective.
The treatment uses a series of clear, bespoke aligners that are created based on your specific orthodontic case. Invisalign usually comes in a set of 15-30 aligners and you will need to wear each aligner for two weeks for effective results.

What to expect

Initial consultation
Certain severe cases may require alternative brace systems, but this can be discussed during an initial consultation.

iTero digital scan
Patients attending for Invisalign treatment will be scanned using an iTero digital scanner instead of having old fashioned impressions.

Wearing your aligners
The aligners are removable and allow for simple dental cleaning. You can remove them for special occasions but need to wear them for at least 20 hours a day.
How long does treatment take?
Treatment time can vary but usually lasts between 8-24 months. Vivera retainers for both arches start from £395.
Common questions
Invisalign starts from £2,700 for one arch and £3,550 for both arches. An iTero digital scan starts from £260 (Dental Studio Price List 2024).
