Inside an implant
Implants replace both the tooth and its root, in two stages.
- 01Step 1The implant is fittedA small hole is made in the jawbone and the implant fitted, under local anaesthesia.
- 02HealingAround 3 to 4 monthsThe implant heals in place during a process known as osseointegration.
- 03Step 2Abutment and new toothAn abutment is attached as a connecting device for a crown, bridge or denture.

Your veneers, step by step
How a veneer smile is planned and fitted at Dental Studio.
Diagnosis and planning
We talk about the problems you are having with your smile and what you would like to change. You are consulted on the colour, shape and appearance of your veneers.
Preparation
The teeth are prepared and an impression is sent to our off-site laboratory with your specific measurements.
Trial smile
A set of replica veneers lets you experience the feel and appearance of your new veneers, and you can make adjustments at this time.
Bonding
You return to the practice to have your new veneers fitted. Once permanently fitted, changes will not be possible.
