Dental bridges, gaps restored

Dental bridges restore missing teeth and reinstate the health, strength and appearance of your smile, at Dental Studio in Waterlooville and Chichester.

Why restore a missing tooth?

It is important to restore any missing teeth to stop the development of speech difficulties, problems eating and tooth drift. Gaps between the teeth can greatly affect the appearance of your smile and cause a decline in self-esteem.

There are different types of bridges including those which use two natural teeth for support, those which use one natural tooth and those most suited for replacing front teeth. Dental bridges can also be used in combination with dental implants for added stability.

Who is it for?

  • One or more missing teeth
  • Gaps that affect speech or eating
  • Missing front teeth

What to expect

  1. 01

    Preparing the supporting teeth

The surrounding teeth are treated to make them suitable for supporting the bridge, and impressions are taken.

  2. 02

    Made in a dental lab

The impressions are sent to a dental lab to be custom-made to your size, shape and shade. A temporary bridge protects your teeth and gums meanwhile.

  3. 03

    Fitting

We ensure your permanent bridge fits perfectly and that you are happy with its colour, appearance and fit.
